Our Client
Our client is located north of the river and is looking for a Senior Advisor to join the team. This is a temporary role for 4 months to preferably starting in June.
Your New Role
This role is to provide advice, coaching and support to employees, leaders and People Services colleagues, on a range of people management and employment relations (ER) matters, to minimise risk and improve culture and performance to achieve desired business outcomes.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Conduct workplace investigations in line with corporate policies and procedures.
- Manage the implementation of projects, processes and systems into the business, working closely with People Partnering and relevant People & Safety sections.
- Coach and advise leaders on matters relating to performance improvement, assisting leaders with the development of performance improvement plans and informal performance improvement processes.
- Coach and advise leaders on matters relating to workplace behaviours and matters of misconduct, with the aim to improve leadership capability, workplace culture and relationships within the affected team/area.
- Coach and advise leaders on matters relating to fitness for work
- Prepare written submissions for external claims in collaboration with Employee Relations as required and represent the Corporation in conciliation hearings before the Fair Work Commission, Industrial Magistrates Court and Equal Opportunity Commission as required.
- Support leaders to identify, prioritise, and build organisational behaviours and processes critical to the organisation’s success.
What you need
- Degree qualification in Human Resources Management or a related discipline.
- Considerable HR generalist experience in a medium to large multidisciplined organisation.
- Considerable experience coaching, supporting and advising leaders on a range of HR matters, to achieve improvement in employee experience and business outcomes.
- Considerable experience resolving workplace grievances and disputes and supporting leaders to manage performance, disciplinary and misconduct matters, at all levels.
- Considerable experience in identifying and mitigating HR related risks with the ability to resolve complex problems and issues to achieve effective outcomes.
- Considerable experience interpreting and providing advice on industrial instruments, policies and procedures.
- Considerable experience building relationships and advising on leadership and people management
- Relevant experience analysing and interpreting people's data to inform business challenges and identify people-related opportunities proactively.
What they Offer
This role is paying $70 - $73p/h.
