An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Administration and Accounts Officer to join a young, growing organisation as it establishes and scales its Australian operations. This is a pivotal, autonomous role, supporting the Country Manager and working closely with an international head office.

Your new role
Reporting directly to the Country Manager, with functional engagement with an overseas HQ, you will take ownership of office administration and accounts support, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations and accurate financial processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing end‑to‑end office administration, facilities and vendor coordination
- Responsible for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Entering and maintaining purchasing and stock related records as volumes increase
- Supporting payroll processing in line with Australian requirements
- Managing expense claims, reconciliations and financial documentation
- Maintaining accurate records in Sage accounting software
- Supporting reporting requirements and communications with international stakeholders
- Assisting with contracts, insurance, compliance and key documentation
- Providing high‑level administrative support to the Country Manager
- Supporting the gradual introduction of a local HR function
- Contributing to operational improvements as the business scales
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a proactive, confident professional who enjoys working autonomously in a lean, fast‑paced environment.
You will also demonstrate:
- Proven experience in senior administration and accounts roles
- Australian payroll experience and a solid understanding of local award and tax requirements
- Strong knowledge of Australian accounting, tax and regulatory standards
- Experience using Sage or similar accounting systems
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills
- Clear, professional communication skills, including engagement with overseas headquarters
- Confidence working independently while knowing when to escalate
- A dynamic, solutions‑focused mindset with the flexibility to grow with the business
- Ability to work 5 days in the office
- Willing to travel overseas for work related purposes
- Full working rights in Australia
