Hobart-based firm seeking an experienced Senior Accountant
Your new company
An independent public accounting firm in Hobart are looking for a Senior Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. This is a great, locally based firm that services an interesting and diverse portfolio of clients.
Your new role
As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for a range of financial activities and will provide personal and tailored support to the firm’s clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing financial statements, tax plans and tax returns.
- Providing high-quality accounting, taxation, and advisory services to our clients.
- Providing insights into business performance with the support of detailed financial analysis.
- Mentoring and guidance of junior members of staff.
- Manage client relationships.
What you'll need to succeed
- Significant experience working in Australian public practice accounting firms.
- CA or CPA qualified.
- Excellent communication and client engagement skills.
- Experience with managing/training junior staff
- Previous experience using Excel or Pronto Application.
