Your new company

Our client is looking for a Finance Manager to manage end-to-end finance and support the amazing Business Director of a growing school in the inner west. This role will be based in the office 5 days per week, but flexible work hours can be offered.

Your new role

• Support the Business Director with strategic decisions, through the delivery of high-quality financial services aligned with strategic and operational objectives.
• Provide strategic financial analysis and reporting to support executive and Board-level decisions.
• Develop and refine financial models and scenario planning for strategic initiatives.
• Prepare business cases and cost–benefit analyses for capital projects and major investments.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term cashflow management processes.
• Assist the Accountant and oversee all banking, reconciliations, month end process, accruals, journals and depreciation schedules.
• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements (GST, FBT, statutory reporting).
• Strengthen financial governance and internal controls; drive process improvement.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be a CA/CPA qualified Senior Accountant or Finance Manager with experience of leading the end-to-end finance processes and strong strategic acumen. You must have excellent communication skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
