Your new role 
Reporting to the Head of Accounting, you will join the team as a Senior Accountant to provide expertise to the business and the wider accounting team. You will support a diverse client base and act as the go-to finance person for some of the organisation’s more substantial clients. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of client accounting services.
In detail
- Lead and oversee the completion of month-end reconciliations and reporting for a portfolio of clients.
 - Review and approve work prepared by junior team members, ensuring quality and adherence to standards.
 - Develop and review budgets, cash flow forecasts, and management reports for clients.
 - Support the Head of Accounting with client reviews, audit preparation, and strategic financial planning.
 - Serve as the primary accounting contact for designated clients, fostering strong relationships built on trust and transparency.
 - Provide mentoring and support to junior and trainee accountants, promoting a collaborative and learning-focused environment.
 - Work closely with other teams to deliver integrated financial and governance solutions.
 - Communicate complex financial information clearly to clients with varying levels of accounting knowledge.
 
What you'll need to succeed 
You’re a proactive and detail-oriented accountant who is confident managing multiple priorities, mentoring junior staff, and building trusted client relationships. You enjoy working with purpose-driven organisations. 
Essential Criteria 
- CPA/CA qualification 
 - Strong experience in month-end, budgeting, and financing reporting
 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
 - A collaborative mindset with the ability to lead and support a team
