A well-established and growing organisation is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a full-time, onsite role, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and take ownership of accounting and administration functions.
Your new role
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting, including payroll coordination with external providers.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for leadership.
- Ensure compliance with AASB and IFRS standards; maintain audit-ready documentation.
- Oversee AP/AR, invoicing, reconciliations, and collections analysis.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Maintain quality management systems and assist with audits.
- Provide administrative leadership and support ad-hoc projects.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in Accounting or Business.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting roles.
- Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP, pivot tables).
- Strong knowledge of AASB and IFRS standards.
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA) preferred.
- Experience with MYOB Acumatica and Xero desirable.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
