Your new role

As a Security Vetting Analyst, you assess personnel eligibility and suitability for site access. Your work will support a safe, secure and trustworthy environment across the organisation.

You will:

• Conduct complex vetting assessments for security clearances
• Gather and analyse sensitive information from multiple sources
• Prepare high‑quality written reports based on evidence and structured judgement
• Provide specialist advice on personnel security matters
• Conduct ongoing reviews and re-evaluations as part of the suitability program
• Support team development, training and knowledge sharing
• Liaise with applicants, referees, internal stakeholders and external agencies
• Work within strict policy, compliance and regulatory frameworks

What you'll need to succeed

• Certificate IV in Personnel Security (Vetting) or willingness to obtain
• Experience in security vetting, investigations, assessments, or risk analysis is essential.
• Familiarity with the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) (highly regarded)
• Strong written communication and analytical skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
• Sound problem-solving ability and confidence in decision‑making
• Experience working with culturally diverse individuals
• Vetting experience is highly regarded
• You must be an Australian Citizen to apply

• Must be eligible and suitable to obtain an NV1 National Security Clearance
• Onboarding can begin through a preliminary suitability assessment process.
