Your new role
As a Security Vetting Analyst, you assess personnel eligibility and suitability for site access. Your work will support a safe, secure and trustworthy environment across the organisation.
You will:
- Conduct complex vetting assessments for security clearances
- Gather and analyse sensitive information from multiple sources
- Prepare high‑quality written reports based on evidence and structured judgement
- Provide specialist advice on personnel security matters
- Conduct ongoing reviews and re-evaluations as part of the suitability program
- Support team development, training and knowledge sharing
- Liaise with applicants, referees, internal stakeholders and external agencies
- Work within strict policy, compliance and regulatory frameworks
What you'll need to succeed
We’re looking for someone with strong judgement, excellent communication skills and the ability to assess information objectively.
You’ll bring:
- Certificate IV in Personnel Security (Vetting) or willingness to obtain
- Experience in security vetting, investigations, assessments, or risk analysis is essential.
- Familiarity with the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) (highly regarded)
- Strong written communication and analytical skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
- Sound problem-solving ability and confidence in decision‑making
- Experience working with culturally diverse individuals
- Vetting experience is highly regarded
- You must be an Australian Citizen to apply
Security Requirements:
- Must be eligible and suitable to obtain an NV1 National Security Clearance
- Onboarding can begin through a preliminary suitability assessment process.
