Your new role
As the Security Architect / Security Assurance Specialist, you will lead the development of security accreditation documentation and assurance activities to support Authorisation to Operate (ATO) outcomes. Working closely with security stakeholders, architects and project teams, you will assess security controls, interpret compliance requirements and prepare documentation aligned with Australian Government security frameworks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing ATO documentation and accreditation artefacts
- Conducting security assurance and compliance assessments
- Supporting security architecture reviews across cloud and AI platforms
- Engaging with senior security stakeholders and decision makers
- Producing security documentation aligned to ISM, PSPF and IRAP requirements
- Contributing to secure implementation of Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot and AI technologies
What you'll need to succeed
- Current NV1 Security Clearance
- Canberra-based and available to commence within short notice
- Extensive Federal Government cybersecurity experience
- Proven experience producing ATO documentation and accreditation artefacts
- Strong understanding of ISM, PSPF, IRAP and security assurance processes
- Experience engaging with IT Security Advisors and senior stakeholders
- Security Architecture, Security Assurance or Security Accreditation expertise
- Highly regarded experience with AI platforms, Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot or Generative AI solutions
- Exposure to Azure, AWS, SaaS, DevSecOps or containerised environments
- Experience developing security artefacts including SSPs, SRMPs, SOAs, CMPs and Security Risk Assessments
