Hays is currently working with a well-established NFP organisation, who are looking for experienced Scheduling Officers to join the team. These are full-time permanent roles, offering a fantastic opportunity to work and support the community.
Your New Role
Reporting to the Scheduling Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include:
Schedule appointments between customers and clinicians
Use scheduling software and problem-solving skills to manage appointments
Support the wider scheduling team to ensure timely bookings across the business
Keep scheduling system accurate and up to date
Communicate clearly to handle difficult situations and resolve issues
Coordinate with customers and clinicians via phone, email, or in person
Quickly resolve scheduling conflicts
Help plan clinicians’ caseloads
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have the following skills and qualities:
Experience with scheduling, especially in health or disability services
Confident using scheduling tools and Microsoft Office
Focused on delivering top-tier customer service
Quick-thinking problem solver with multitasking skills
Strong communicator, both written and verbal
Works well independently and with a team
Well-organised and skilled at managing time and priorities
Takes ownership of tasks and responsibilities
Keen eye for detail
