Temporary Scheduling Coordinator role in Inner North Brisbane for 2 months with chance of extension

Your new role

You will be supporting a team of technicians, scheduling their day-to-day and assisting with administrative tasks. This includes:

  • Scheduling technicians 3 days ahead, ensuring accurate planning to minimise downtime and efficient routes
  • Reallocating jobs to adjust to last minute changes or issues
  • Actioning incoming calls and emails
  • Collecting all necessary documentation and information prior to scheduling work
  • Running compliance checks and following up with outstanding tasks
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Booking subcontractors when needed
  • Reviewing daily timesheets for technicians and subcontractors
  • Maintaining accurate data entry and record keeping
  • Assist with travel coordination when needed

What you'll need to succeed

Your scheduling experience will be highly beneficial, as well as:

  • Experience scheduling in blue collar environments, e.g. trades, facilities
  • Experience using ERP systems or scheduling software is highly regarded
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to plan ahead, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Confidence in high-volume, fast-paced environments
  • High computer literacy
