Join a large and complex organisation undertaking a significant business transformation program aligned to the implementation of a new ERP platform. This organisation is focused on optimising its business operations, corporate services, and strategic procurement functions to deliver improved customer and employee outcomes.

Your new role

As the Business Architect, you will play a key role in supporting business readiness and transformation activities across the program. Working closely with business, process, change, and technology teams, you will help design future-state operating models, identify capability gaps, and develop practical business architecture artefacts to support successful implementation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the design of integrated corporate services value streams and target operating models

  • Contributing to the co-design of the Strategic Procurement Target Operating Model.

  • Reviewing current-state business capabilities and developing future-state business architecture artefacts.

  • Identifying capability gaps, business impacts, and transition considerations.

  • Supporting the design of future-state governance, process, information, and technology arrangements.

  • Developing business architecture standards, frameworks, and knowledge resources.

  • Facilitating alignment across business and technology stakeholders to support informed decision-making and business readiness outcomes.
    What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience supporting or delivering large-scale business transformation and operating model initiatives within complex environments.

  • Strong business architecture experience, including capability modelling, operating model design, and future-state business design.

  • Demonstrated business analysis, business process modelling, and change management capability.

  • Experience supporting ERP-enabled transformation programs.

  • Ability to identify capability gaps and provide practical, outcome-focused recommendations.

  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.

  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to a broad range of stakeholders.

  • Experience working collaboratively across business, process, and technology teams.

  • A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on sustainable business outcomes.
