SAP Functional Analyst (Timesheet & Leave) | 16-month contract

Hays has partnered up with a large Brisbane enterprise level organisation that is undergoing massive transformation. This company is looking for an SAP Functional Analyst who will work closely with other team members to deliver designs for their Modern ERP Program.


Your new role

As the SAP Functional Analyst (Timesheet & Leave), you will lead the design and build of SAP Time Management and Leave solutions, working closely with the Payroll Project Manager and other stakeholders. You’ll play a key role in configuring and integrating SAP modules including CATS, SuccessFactors Time Management, and Payroll.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading end-to-end delivery of SAP Time and Leave modules.
  • Supporting configuration, customisation, and integration of CATS via Fiori applications.
  • Ensuring seamless data flow between time management, payroll, and other SAP modules.
  • Collaborating with technical teams, solution architects, and business stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
  • Minimum 10+ years of SAP experience, particularly in HCM Time and Leave on the S/4HANA platform.
  • Proven experience in implementing and optimising SAP Time Management solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of CATS integration with Payroll and Project Systems.
  • Experience with leave management workflows and downstream data integration.
  • Familiarity with BTP Services, Cloud ALM, Fiori, and modern ERP systems.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • A current Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable:
  • Experience in government, utilities, or large enterprise HR transformation programs.
  • Background in HR policy, employee relations, or talent development.
  • Experience working in federated HR models and distributed workforce structures.
  • Exposure to SAP Activate methodology and HR data management best practices.
