Hays has partnered up with a large Brisbane enterprise level organisation that is undergoing massive transformation. This company is looking for an SAP Functional Analyst who will work closely with other team members to deliver designs for their Modern ERP Program.

Your new role

As the SAP Functional Analyst, you will lead the design and build of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central solutions. Working closely with the HCM/HR Project Manager, technical teams, and business stakeholders, you’ll ensure the solution is fit-for-purpose and aligned with Council’s transformation goals.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading end-to-end delivery of SAP Employee Central and Onboarding modules.
• Engaging with vendors, IT teams, and business units to guide configurations and customisations.
• Collaborating across functional teams to ensure seamless integrations.
• Supporting testing, issue resolution, and lifecycle management of HR processes.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Over 10 years’ experience in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Onboarding.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and HCM modules.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle management.
• Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with virtual teams and manage competing priorities.
• A current Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain one).

Desirable:

• Experience in government, utilities, or large enterprise HR transformation programs.
• Background in HR policy, employee relations, or talent development.
• Familiarity with federated HR models and distributed workforce structures.
