We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect to join the Cybersecurity and Resiliency Branch, leading the design and delivery of secure, scalable, and business-aligned technology solutions. This role is central to the Crack Down on Fraud (CDoF) program and will provide technical leadership across the agency’s core platforms.
Your new role
You will operate with a high degree of independence, managing complex problem-solving and issue resolution, while delivering high-level policy advice and operational support. This is a strategic role with significant influence on both business and technology outcomes.
- Deliver high-quality, fit-for-purpose solution architectures aligned with agency goals.
- Lead detailed and sensitive projects involving diverse and complex processes.
- Ensure solutions are technically robust, secure, accessible, and strategically aligned.
- Develop and enforce compliance with reference models, ICT policies, and strategic roadmaps.
- Engage with business units to understand tactical and strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, developers, and stakeholders to ensure cross-domain alignment.
- Provide technical oversight and resolve complex issues during project delivery.
- Represent the agency in high-level stakeholder engagements and negotiations.
What you'll need to succeed
- 10+ years of architecture experience with broad technical knowledge and leadership in designing complex enterprise platforms.
- Extensive experience integrating Salesforce in enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to lead architectural design for enterprise CRM and/or large-scale integration projects.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Experience balancing project, program, and organisational goals with strategic drivers.
- Demonstrated ability to act as a liaison between business and ICT for design and requirements resolution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Industry experience in health, insurance, or sectors with large customer bases and complex supply chains.
- TOGAF certification or equivalent architectural qualification.
- Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
- Previous roles as Enterprise Architect or Program Lead Architect.
- Experience in Agile and structured delivery environments.
- Background in investigations, law enforcement, or digital forensics.
