Their Resource Recovery division plays a critical role in Victoria's circular economy strategy - transforming waste into valuable resources through cutting-edge recycling, reprocessing, and sustainable waste solutions.


Your new role

Reporting to the General Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to manage the Sales efforts Customer relationships of the Resource Recovery division in VIC. This role will be pivotal in driving new business development, building upon existing strategic partnerships, and achieving sales targets across industrial, commercial, and municipal sectors.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensure all enquiries from customers are handled in accordance with customer service expectations

  • Meet with Operations team members on a regular basis to increase collaboration and enhance customer experiences

  • Prepare proposals, quotations and tenders for existing and potential clients Manage, update and maintain client information in the company database

  • Develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth and market share in the resource recovery sector.

  • Identify new business opportunities and manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation to contract negotiation.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure tailored and feasible solutions for customers.

  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic direction.

  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within the circular economy or waste management, recycling, environmental services, or a related industry.

  • Strong understanding of resource recovery, circular economy principles, and sustainable business practices.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed targets.

  • Strategic thinker with a strong commercial acumen.

  • Results-oriented with a proactive and resilient attitude.
