Your new role

We are looking for an estimator with a solid foundation in residential building and a passion for commercial accuracy. You’ll work closely with Sales, Design, and Operations teams to deliver robust, market-aligned costings that support smarter business decisions.

• Prepare clear and accurate tender documents and variations
• Develop detailed retail cost estimates with strategic margins and markups
• Provide fixed site costs and pricing support to sales teams
• Collaborate with drafters, engineers, and construction managers
• Interpret architectural and engineering plans to assess buildability and cost impact
• Analyse documentation to estimate materials, labour, and site conditions
• Evaluate design changes and their commercial implications
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency

What you'll need to succeed

This role will require an experienced Sales Estimator who can step into a high-performing team and meet the same commitment and quality of work. Your previous experience estimating in the local market will give you the ability to hit the ground running supported by a great team with strong processes.

• Prior experience in residential construction estimating or a related field
• Strong technical knowledge of building practices and compliance standards
• Proven ability to interpret complex drawings and specifications
• High-level analytical skills and commercial acumen
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Proficiency in estimating software and Excel (Databuild experience a plus)
• A proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
