Your new role
As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling tailored solar solutions to residential and commercial clients. This is a field-based role, split between being on the road meeting customers and time in the office managing your pipeline.
You’ll receive qualified, inbound leads and booked appointments, allowing you to focus on converting opportunities into sales while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and nurturing inbound leads through the full sales cycle
- Conducting on-site and office-based consultations with customers
- Converting leads into sales through consultative, solution-based selling
- Identifying and maximising upsell opportunities where appropriate
- Building strong rapport and long-term customer relationships
- Providing excellent customer service before, during, and after the sale
- Working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
- Accurately maintaining CRM records and sales documentation
- Representing the company’s values and customer-first approach at all times
This role offers uncapped commission on everything you sell, making it ideal for someone who is highly sales-driven and motivated by performance.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in sales, ideally within solar, renewable energy, or a related industry, but not mandatory
- Alternatively, experience selling industrial products, trade-based solutions, or technical products, with a strong desire to transition into solar.
- Strong closing ability and a results-focused mindset
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence presenting solutions to both residential and commercial customers
- High levels of self-motivation, organisation, and time management
- A customer-first attitude that aligns with strong business values
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a wider team
- Full driving licence and willingness to be on the road regularly
Solar experience is highly regarded, but training and support will be provided for the right sales professional who is eager to learn and grow in the renewable energy space.
