• Delivering inductions for underground operations and supporting surface inductions.
• Providing training and competency assessments across mining, maintenance, and operational departments.
• Maintaining accurate training records and up-to-date skills matrices for underground personnel.
• Monitoring mining contractor compliance and ensuring training requirements are met.
• Assisting in the development and revision of training packages and assessment resources.
• Leading continuous improvement efforts in training methods and tools.
• Coordinating and reporting training needs against the annual training plan.
• Supporting new starters and trainees with mentorship and guidance.
• Conducting verification of competencies and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Delivering training sessions and awareness programs as required.
• Working on a 7/7 roster, providing structured and consistent training support.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualifications: Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, First Aid certification, and a manual driving licence.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in underground hard rock mining, with proven competency in operating underground machinery such as dump trucks, drilling rigs, LHD units, and more.
• Skills: Strong facilitation and presentation abilities, proficiency in MS Office, knowledge of training standards, and a solid grasp of safety and compliance requirements.
