Your new role

• Conducting site inspections, auditing contractors and reporting on their safety compliance processes
• Providing professional advice to internal and external stakeholders around OSH matters
• Assists in the development and review of OSH plans and procedures.
• Prepare and distribute communications around specific OSH advice for projects
• Address any issues found during site inspections to appropriate management
• Provide guidance around safe working requirements
• Coordinate the safety audit schedule
• Participate in risk assessment workshops

What you'll need to succeed

• A confident understanding of AS/NZS ISO 45001 and 9001
• Practical experience in applying safety principles related to the Rail Safety National Law Act 2015
• Previous experience in civil construction
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Confident IT skills with the ability to conduct data analysis and report on findings
• The ability to pass a pre-employment medical exam and also provide a National Police Clearance
• A current 'C' or 'C.A' class driver's licence

What you'll get in return

• An hourly rate of $72.98 per hour + super
• Central Perth CBD office
• Access to company vehicles for site inspections during work hours
• Full-time hours Monday to Friday
• An initial 6-month temporary contract + extensions
