Our client is a Brisbane based organisation looking for a SAP EAM/ EPPM Change Lead for a 16 month contract
Your new role
The SAP S/4HANA Change Lead is a key role responsible for leading the change management strategy and execution for the one of the business readiness streams within the Modern ERP Program. The role ensures that people, processes, and technology changes are effectively managed to drive business adoption, minimise resistance, and enable a seamless transition to the new SAP S/4HANA solution.
- Execute the change management strategy, ensuring alignment with Modern ERP Program transformation goals and best practices in change management methodologies (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter, Prosci).
- Lead stakeholder engagement and communication activities, ensuring business managers, and employees are informed and supported throughout the transition.
- Develop and implement communication plans, ensuring consistent and clear messaging about project progress, system benefits, and expected changes.
- Facilitate business readiness assessments, ensuring business units and operational teams are prepared for go-live and post-implementation support.
- Coordinate with business readiness teams to ensure alignment of change activities across other impacted functions.
- Track and manage change resistance, working with leadership and stakeholders to proactively address concerns and facilitate smooth adoption.
- Monitor and measure change adoption, collecting feedback, identifying areas for improvement, and refining change management strategies accordingly.
- Change Adoption Metrics & Reports, tracking employee engagement, training completion, and system utilisation.
Ensure sustainability of change, embedding new ways of working and ensuring business-as-usual teams can support and maintain the new SAP S/4HANA solution post-go-live.
What you'll need to succeed
- 10+ years of experience in change management and business transformation, with a focus on SAP systems implementation.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale ERP change programs, preferably within SAP S/4HANA implementations.
- Strong knowledge of change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci ADKAR, Kotter’s Change Model, Lewin’s Change Theory).
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and training delivery in complex organisational environments.
- Ability to conduct change impact assessments, resistance management, and post-go-live change adoption monitoring.
- Strong collaboration skills with business and technical teams, ensuring seamless integration of change initiatives with system deployment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including experience in preparing executive-level reports and presentations.
Experience in local government or public sector organisations is an advantage.
