The role involves preparing reports and correspondence, managing workflows to meet legislated timeframes, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues effectively. This is a 6-month hourly rate contract with a possibility of extension.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Knowledge of, or ability to quickly gain knowledge of, regulatory environments and legislation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide pragmatic advice on complex scientific matters.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads, work independently, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
To apply for this position, you must be an Australian citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance within the first 3 months of the contract.

What you'll get in return

You’ll join a collaborative and inclusive team within a nationally significant organisation. This is an opportunity to contribute to Australia’s agricultural productivity and public safety while developing your expertise in regulatory science. Flexible work arrangements and a supportive environment are offered.
