Refrigeration Mechanic

Looking for a Refrigeration Mechanic to commence ASAP in Mackay! Relocation assistance can be provided.

Your new company

Our client is a family-owned and run business in the Mackay Region. They have a highly motivated team and a multitude of clients in the Mackay Region they service. Due to current workloads, they are looking for a full-time Refrigeration Mechanic to join their team.

Your new role

  • Install new commercial and residential air conditioning systems.
  • Diagnose faults in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration units for both residential and commercial clients.
  • Provide maintenance services for properties.
  • Maintain air conditioners and refrigeration systems.
  • Collaborate with apprentices or Trade Assistants as needed.
  • Take pride in quality work even with minimal supervision.
  • Perform air conditioning maintenance and repairs.
  • Handle breakdown repairs.
  • Install split system air conditioning in domestic and commercial settings.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Trade Qualification – Refrigeration Mechanic
  • Driver's Licence
  • Technical skills in diagnostics
  • Confident to be able to work alone
  • Have contactable references
  • Opportunity for relocation assistance if you’re not already living in the region

What you'll get in return

In return, you will be offered a full-time position with a family-owned business. In this role, you will work on a Monday to Friday basis, have the opportunity to be given a company vehicle, and the opportunity to be upskilled (CPR / LVR, WAH, EWP, White Card). Our client also offers relocation assistance if you want to relocate to the region.
