Your new role

In this role you'll be working in an emerging market space, working alongside a well-established and highly networked technical team and be accountable for developing the WA Sustainability market.
With strong growth potential across the public and private sectors, you will be able to leverage Hays' existing relationships in the WA & ANZ market to drive your success.
Your main focus will be on roles in sustainability, the environment and water, and there will be opportunities to work on a wide variety of specialist roles that might include a wide variety of environmental consultants and engineers, net-zero project managers, contaminated sites officers, cultural heritage advisors and hydrologists.

What you will need to succeed
Ideally, you are already a successful technical recruiter, looking to evolve and progress your career, leveraging your keen interest in this exciting new sector. Key to your success will be your ability and passion for networking and engagement with your existing and potential customers via events and industry forums locally, across ANZ and internationally, and becoming a true expert.
Skilfully uncovering talent, organisations and opportunities in this emerging sector will be paramount, so you’ll have first-class communication and engagement skills, and a strategic approach to business development, whilst being effective in leveraging from leads and existing relationships of the entire Perth team and other Hays Sustainability consultants across APAC.
