I am currently partnered with a State Government Department who are seeking a Records Officer to join their team in a 6-month temp position.

Your new role
As Records Management Officer, you’ll play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining records and information management systems in line with legislative requirements and industry best practice. You’ll work collaboratively across departments to promote good recordkeeping, support compliance, and ensure the integrity of both electronic and hardcopy records.
Your new role will involve:
Coordinating the records and archival management program
Providing technical advice and support on recordkeeping practices
Supporting the operation of electronic document management systems
Developing and maintaining standards, guidelines, and procedures
Managing compliance, change control, and stakeholder engagement
Assisting with ICT audit and risk activities
Supervising mailing activities and resolving records-related incidents
What you'll need to succeed
Tertiary qualifications (Diploma minimum) or 3+ years’ experience in records management
Strong understanding of records management principles, standards, and regulations
Proficiency in electronic document and records systems
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems independently
Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
