Your new role
As the receptionist for the company, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients and stakeholders, representing the organisation with professionalism and warmth. Your key duties and responsibilities will include:
Managing the reception area to ensure it is always welcoming and presentable.
Coordinating and handling all incoming calls efficiently.
Maintaining reception, meeting rooms, kitchens, and general client areas to ensure they are client-ready at all times.
Sorting and distributing incoming mail and packages, managing outgoing dispatch, and coordinating local courier bookings.
Providing event support, including meeting room and boardroom bookings and service.
Assisting clients and staff with administrative tasks as required.
What you'll need to succeed
Prior experience in administration or customer service within a corporate or business environment would be highly beneficial. The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following skills:
- A professional, friendly, and welcoming telephone manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- A personable and approachable nature, with excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy across all tasks.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, delivered in a polished and friendly manner.
- The capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to take on varied tasks as required.
- Australian citizenship or Permanent residency
