Receptionist / Administration Officer
Location: Wanguri, NT
Employment Type: Temporary Assignment for 6 weeks starting ASAP
Hours: (Monday-Friday) 3PM - 7PM
A well‑established client in Wanguri is seeking a warm, organised, and professional Receptionist / Administration Officer to be the first point of contact for visitors.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, thrives in a busy environment, and takes pride in creating a welcoming environment.
About the Role
As the Receptionist, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional client experience while supporting the smooth day‑to‑day operations. You’ll be the friendly face and voice of the business, ensuring customers feel supported from their very first interaction.
Key Duties & Responsibilities- Greet students, parents, and visitors in a warm, professional, and welcoming manner
- Respond to enquiries via phone, email, and in person in a timely and helpful way
- Provide clear and accurate information regarding services, bookings, and general enquiries
- Maintain a calm, friendly environment aligned with the organisation’s values
- Manage bookings, schedules, cancellations, and session changes
- Maintain accurate client records and databases
- Prepare and send client communications, including confirmations, reminders, invoices, and contracts
- Assist with filing, document preparation, and general office organisation
- Support basic invoicing and payment tracking
- Follow up outstanding payments professionally and respectfully
- Assist with data entry and reporting as required
- Ensure reception and learning spaces are tidy, organised, and welcoming
- Monitor student arrivals and departures
- Provide ad hoc administrative support to Teacher Assistants and management
Skills & Experience- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- Confident with computers and office systems (email, spreadsheets, booking systems)
- Professional presentation and customer service skills
- Previous experience in reception, administration, or customer service
Essential Requirements: - Current Working With Children Check (OCHRE Card) or willingness to obtain
