Receptionist Rate: $30 - $33 an hour plus super! Type: Short-term contract Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday Location: Newcastle CBD
Your new role Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails.
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area.
Manage appointment scheduling.
Assist with general administrative duties including data entry, filing, and document preparation.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
Write and submit weekly internal newsletters to staff, ensuring timely and engaging communication.
Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
Uphold confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in administration or reception (essential)
Previous experience in the aged care industry (highly desirable)
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Confident using Microsoft Office Suite and other standard office software.
A proactive and professional approach to customer service.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
A friendly, approachable, and team-oriented attitude.
Experience in writing internal communications or newsletters is highly regarded.
