Your New Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Radio Technician to join a site-based mining operation. This role is ideal for someone with a strong radio, telecommunications, or ICT infrastructure background who enjoys hands-on work and keeping critical systems running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain site-wide communication systems
• Troubleshoot faults across radios, networks, and infrastructure
• Support CCTV systems and telephony services
• Upgrade and improve communications infrastructure onsite
• Install, maintain, and support radio and leaky feeder systems
• Perform fault diagnosis, repairs, and optimisation
• Deliver infrastructure upgrades, expansions, and system commissioning
• Maintain accurate records, drawings, and system documentation
• Work within structured support processes, including incident response and escalation
• Collaborate with IT and Operations teams to ensure system integration

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• A Radio or Trade background
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Hands-on experience in communications systems, telecommunications, or ICT infrastructure

Ideally, you will also have experience with:

• Radio systems (UHF/VHF)
• Leaky feeder systems (underground communications)
• CCTV systems
• Telephony (site phones / VoIP)
