Your New Role
As the quality systems specialist, you will lead and be responsible for ensuring the overall quality, conformance, and compliance of products, services, and the management system. Your role will involve maintaining optimal performance and achieving business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing the scheduling and conducting internal audits.
- Developing and implementing quality assurance processes and monitoring performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Contributing to the implementation, development, and improvement of quality strategy plans, policies, procedures, and practices as described in the Management System.
- Working with key stakeholders to achieve product, service, and asset performance targets.
- Reporting risks, particularly those associated with the management system and quality assurance processes.
- Monitoring non-conformance trends and producing reports to ensure remedial solutions and corrective actions are effectively implemented.
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of documentation, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, guidelines, and control records.
- Ensuring management system functionality and that responsible people are aware of the adequacy and currency of procedures to meet business needs.
What You Need to Succeed
- Australian Citizenship is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in coordinating quality management activities in a regulated industry, such as defence.
- Ability to interpret and apply quality requirements and regulatory legislation.
- Experience using quality management systems and tools.
- A solutions-driven and analytical approach.
