Quality Assurance Engineer

Quality Assurance Engineer 6-month contract position Brisbane location
Our client is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to drive quality initiatives within the ConSite Mine Plus PoV team. As a subject-matter expert (SME), you will ensure the reliability, performance, and usability of the analytics platform, collaborating closely with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders. This is an initial 6-month contract position, with the potential for extension. This role is located in Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute QA strategies for complex data workflows, dashboards, and reporting features.
  • Design and implement test plans, cases, and automation for both frontend and backend components.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts in QA best practices within an Agile environment.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work with engineering teams on resolutions.
  • Monitor and report on software quality metrics to uphold customer expectations.
What You Bring:

  • Experience in QA for data platforms, analytics applications, or enterprise software.
  • Proficiency in test case management tools (Azure DevOps, JIRA) and test automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Grafana, AWS environments, and API testing tools (Postman, JMeter).
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
