Your new company

Your new company is a soft services provider, currently based in North Sydney that will shortly be re-locating to a new office in the inner West. This is an organisation with an amazing culture, so good that the majority of employees have been there over 10 years. They are looking for a permanent WHS officer to join their business for long-term success. This role will contribute to business success by assisting with duties outside of Work Health & Safety, so this would be a suitable opportunity for someone looking to invest their time in a business that invests in them that would like to help out and learn duties across Operations, Sales, HR, Payroll and accounting. Ideally this will be a full-time position but they are open to candidates on a part-time basis, minimum 20 hours per week.

Your new role

In your new role you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining quality certification
• Conducting risk assessments & audits
• Develop & deliver staff training
• Managing any workers' compensation or return to work cases
• Drive continuous improvement in organisational management systems

What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed, you will ideally hold:

• Cert IV or relevant qualification in Work Health & Safety
• Have transport & valid driving licence
• Relevant experience from a similar position
