Your new role
As Protective Coatings Coordinator, you will:
- Develop and manage protective coatings work packs in line with engineering recommendations.
- Walk down defects, define scope, and prepare work method statements.
- Generate tender documents for vendor submissions and oversee remediation documentation
- Plan and schedule shutdown programs using Microsoft Project and SAP
- Document manning hours, resource requirements, and logistics profiles
- Liaise with stakeholders across production, maintenance, and engineering teams
- Supervise execution supervisors to ensure safe, high-quality delivery
- Conduct inspections during coating phases and monitor site safety and KPIs
- Ensure compliance with standards, QA/QC documentation, and training requirements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate on structural upgrades
What you'll need to succeed
- NACE Accredited Coatings Inspector (preferably NACE Level 2)
- Strong background in protective coatings, asset integrity, or structural maintenance
- Experience with SAP workflows and shutdown planning tools (Microsoft Project)
- Proven ability to coordinate stakeholders and manage complex workpacks
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to mentor and guide teams
