Your new role

As a Property Officer, you will support the General Manager’s Unit by overseeing and optimising a varied portfolio of properties. You will manage day‑to‑day operations, leasing and licensing activities, financial performance, maintenance coordination and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include conducting site inspections, liaising with tenants, contractors and strata managers, preparing reports and correspondence, maintaining lease and licence databases, and assisting with legal matters such as contracts, agreements and tribunal representation.

You will also contribute to strategic planning through data-driven insights, performance reporting, procurement support and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing risk and enhancing portfolio value.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualifications in Property, Real Estate, Valuation, Land Economics or a related discipline (preferred)
  • Experience in property and asset management, including lease and licence administration
  • Knowledge of maintenance scheduling, building operations and property compliance
  • Strong understanding of contracts, leases, licences and relevant legislation (e.g. Local Government Act, Crown Lands Act, Roads Act)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
