Role Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, including procurement agreements, construction contracts (AS2124, AS4000, FIDIC, NEC), PPAs, EPC contracts, and O&M agreements.
• Advise clients on regulatory compliance matters, particularly in defence, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
• Provide legal support for tender processes, contract execution, and dispute resolution.
• Develop and maintain project documentation systems and legal precedents.
• Work closely with global and local teams, delivering cross-border expertise and industry-specific insights.

The Ideal Candidate

• 3-8 years PQE, with strong experience in energy, utilities, defence, and procurement projects.
• Familiarity with National Electricity Rules (NER), ASDEFCON, and Defence Estate Works Program (EWP).
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills for high-value contracts.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
• A client-first approach, providing commercially sensible and pragmatic advice.
• Strong business development and relationship management skills.
