A leading Defence‑aligned organisation is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent – Electrical to oversee the delivery of major maritime and commercial upgrade projects. This role is central to ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality execution of electrical work packages in a dynamic, high‑complexity environment. You will work closely with project managers, supervisors, subcontractors, and multiple trade groups to ensure operational performance, schedule adherence, and technical compliance across all project stages.

Your new role

• Maintain the highest standards of workplace safety and environmental compliance.
• Lead investigations into incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Oversee day‑to‑day project operations, including subcontractor management, materials, equipment, and resource allocation.
• Report regular progress updates to project leadership.
• Monitor project scope, critical path activities, emerging risks, and performance issues.
• Analyse labour and material expenditures to ensure project financial targets are met.
• Conduct onsite inspections to verify compliance with technical and quality standards.
• Chair and participate in scheduled meetings with stakeholders to track progress and resolve issues.
• Coordinate test and trial activities and support resolution of defects.
• Ensure documentation and records are maintained to required standards

• Experience supervising or coordinating subcontractors or production teams.
• Strong safety leadership within a complex industrial or engineering environment.
• Ability to interpret and communicate technical information clearly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Understanding of financial and purchasing processes

• Experience within Defence, naval, maritime, or heavy‑industrial environments.
• Knowledge of repair, maintenance, or procurement processes in engineering settings.
• Electrical background and qualifications
• Asutralian Citzienship
