Hiring Project Officer role based in Warrnambool, 3 days working from office! Initially, a 12-month fixed term

Your new role

As a Project Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in the project team. You will collaborate directly with the Project Manager to deliver project benefits within defined timeframes and budgets. Your excellent interpersonal skills will help you manage internal teams and external stakeholders effectively. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are key as you maintain project documents, including budgets, registers, and reports.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience as a Project Officer in a large 24/7 organisation.
  • Proficiency in maintaining project assets using software such as Jira, MS-Project, Excel, and Word.
  • Demonstrated the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and third-party stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills for managing project documentation.
  • Effective time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Experience updating project budgets (forecast and actual) and identifying deviations is highly preferred.
  • Preferred experience in drafting project reports and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Familiarity with change management approaches and methodologies.
