Your New Role
You will be responsible for:
  • Apply project management methodologies to plan, monitor and deliver work packages.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision as an effective member of a team, using a high level of initiative to manage competing priorities
  • Demonstrated experience initiating, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicate complex information clearly and concisely through written briefs, reporting and presentations
  • Apply judgement to resolve issues and make evidence-informed decisions
Desirable skills to have for the role/s:
  • Experience in managing end-to-end projects within government or community services, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, including with the community, government, and service providers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated understanding of engagement principles, or consultation processes.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and reporting systems

What You'll Need To Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
  • Experience of liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and provide advice on a range of matters to resolve moderately complex to complex enquiries.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to set priorities and manage workflow.
  • Experience in data management and analysis.
  • Proven ability to lead and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the public sector.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies, and precedents.
  • This role requires candidates to be an Australian Citizen.
  • Successful candidates will need to complete 2x reference checks and be willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
