Your new role

As the Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the major capital projects team. Your duties will include,

• Identify optimal involvement of resources in all phases of the project
• Plans these resource demands in the project schedule for the phases
• With support from Project Team members, prepares the Project Execution Plan (PEP) or Phase work plans
• Review the PEP/Phase work plans on a regular basis to determine priorities, resources and performance and ensure compliance by setting an example and actively encouraging conformance through auditing and review. Manage and control changes to them.
• Leads the development of project estimates for each of the project phases, leading to expenditure approval
• Ensures all appropriate stakeholders are included in the estimating process.
• Evaluates threats and opportunities in the estimates and allocates appropriate contingencies in estimates.

What you'll need to succeed

• Extensive years experience in an operations/engineering and project management field
• Engineering degree - highly desirable
• Experience in tailings dams – design and construction
• Previous experience with refineries
