Your new role
As a Project Manager, you will work with the Senior Civil Works Coordinator to deliver TMR projects on time and on budget. You will also manage and implement the quality, safety and environmental systems for the projects. Your main duties will include:
- Planning and programming the projects;
- Preparing and monitoring the project cost estimations, budgets, cash flows, progress claims and variations;
- Assisting in the development and review of the works program;
- Procuring and managing the materials and suppliers;
- Ensuring the compliance of the works with the technical specifications, legislation, approvals and standards, with a focus on risk management;
- Coordinating the labour, plant and material resources; and
- Performing other related duties as directed by the Director of Engineering within your skills and experience.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will possess:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Civil Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia
- Significant demonstrated experience in road construction works, preferably with TMR Projects;
- Experience working in regional and remote locations;
- Experience following TMR specifications and Construction Management systems, compliance and reporting procedures;
- Strong skills in planning, programming, cost management, financial reporting, communication, time management and prioritisation;
- High computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and other corporate and software programs (e.g., Authority, TRIM);
- Unrestricted Drivers’ Licence; and
- Workplace Health and Safety Construction Industry Certification (Blue or White Card).
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive an attractive remuneration package negotiated based on your demonstrated experience($120,000-140,000) which includes base salary & locality allowance & superannuation, as well as salary sacrifice options including housing & vehicle.
