Your new role
As a Project Manager specialising in Class 2 building projects , your responsibilities will span the entire project lifecycle. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring successful project delivery, compliance with regulations, and efficient resource management.
Key aspects of your role:
- Project Planning and Coordination : Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and timelines. Your expertise in planning and scheduling will drive project efficiency.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to building codes, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Resource Management : Efficiently allocate resources to meet project milestones. Your ability to balance budgets, timelines, and quality is crucial.
- Risk Mitigation : Identify and manage project risks, including unforeseen challenges during construction, with a proactive approach.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Foster positive relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies. Effective communication and negotiation skills are essential.
- Quality Assurance : Oversee inspections, quality control, and testing to ensure that Class II buildings meet industry standards and client expectations.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Project Manager with experience in the delivery of Class 2 construction projects.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide project teams.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Knowledge of NSW building codes and regulations.
