A newly created Project Management position has now been made available with one of our long-standing community-based clients located in the South East. Offering an initial 12-month contract, this position will allow you to get your hands on a variety of upgrade and refurbishment projects across multiple sites. Promoting values of team cohesion, passion and dedication, this organisation will support you in managing your assigned projects in line with their policies and procedures, through to delivery. If you have experience in end-to-end Project Management, ideally from a government background, and have experience and knowledge of contract administration/management, then we would love to hear from you!


Your new role
Reporting to the Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Project Management- procurement, planning, delivery and execution of projects while working closely with the design team (building refurbishment, upgrade and structural projects)
  • Preparing, implementing and updating project plan and reporting
  • Community consultation and ensuring all relevant stakeholders are managed during project planning and execution
  • Managing project and maintenance plans
  • Performing regular site visits to ensure projects are within budget, on time and are being delivered under required OHS procedures
  • Preparing and delivering project status reports and being involved in monthly team meetings


What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you will require:

  • Tertiary degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or related discipline
  • Knowledge of AS4000
  • Government or NFP experience highly desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to speak with a variety of community members across a diverse range of backgrounds
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Strong financial skills and ability to develop and maintain budgets
  • Driver's license
