Your new role
Based in their Sunshine Coast office, this role will encompass all aspects of project management, overseeing small to medium/large projects across the Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay. You will be supported by a full site team, including Contract Administrators, PMs, and Site Supervisors. Your first major project will be in the education sector. Additional projects may include public school buildings, public amenities, and refurbishments. As the Project leader, you will take overall responsibility for the budgets, program, and quality outcomes. Along with head contract implementation and administration, using Jonas Premier and cloud-based document control software.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you must have experience as a Contract Administrator ready to step up to a project manager, or perhaps you’ve recently cut your teeth as a Project Manager working in Commercial Construction if this role is for you. A strong work ethic and “can-do” attitude are essential.
This role requires a genuine project manager and self-starter. A tertiary qualification, such as a Degree in Construction Management or Diploma in Building and Construction, would be well regarded but is not essential. Only applicants with Australian experience will be considered, while a connection to the Sunshine Coast is preferred, along with experience in the SEQ market.
What you'll get in return
Salary will be commensurate with experience, while a package of around $150k base is a good indicator, possibly more for the right person. This role allows for a good lifestyle balance; this is a Monday to Friday role, working 7am – 4.30 pm.
