Project Manager - Retail

Your new company
For over 20 years, this highly reputable, strong client-side consultancy has successfully delivered large-scale retail, commercial, aged care, aviation, infrastructure and education projects across Australia. Their diverse projects are spread across both the public and private sectors with a strong pipeline of work and plenty of repeat clients. Due to this exciting pipeline, a permanent position now exists for an experienced Project Manager with retail or high-end commercial fit-out experience, to join the team in Melbourne’s CBD.

Your new role
  • Day-to-day management of projects
  • Manage and lead the consultant team
  • Stakeholder / End User management
  • Preparation of reports and documentation
  • Liaise with statutory authorities for approvals and certificates
  • Responsible for multiple projects simultaneously
  • Achieve project progress that is in line with contractual requirements
  • Represent clients at project meetings with head contractors, consultants and other stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture or Property
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record in stakeholder management
  • Preferably at least 3+ years of work experience working within a client-side consultancy
  • Excellent presentation and client-facing abilities
  • Full working rights within Australia
