Your new role

As a Project Manager, you will take full ownership of a major new-build commercial construction project, managing the delivery from tender handover through to completion. Operating as the primary client interface, you will lead the project team and oversee all commercial, contractual and construction outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

End-to-end delivery of a large-scale commercial new-build project
Acting as the main point of contact for clients and key stakeholders
Managing internal teams, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers
Driving construction methodology, sequencing and program delivery
Managing head contracts, subcontractor procurement and contract administration
Overseeing budgets, cost control, forecasting and financial performance
Managing variations, EOTs, RFIs and contractual correspondence
Ensuring WHS, quality, environmental and statutory compliance
Leading and mentoring project team members and reporting on progress and risk

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated experience managing commercial construction projects through to completion
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• High-level commercial and contractual knowledge
• Sound understanding of construction programs, sequencing and delivery strategies
• Experience working with established commercial building contractors
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving capability
• Relevant tertiary qualification in construction, engineering or a related discipline
• Current White Card and relevant industry accreditations
