Project Manager – HCM – ERO – SAP


  • Rate: Up to $980.00 + Super per day
  • Location: Sydney: Surry Hills, Parramatta and Sydney Olympic Park. (3 days per week onsite)
  • Contract: Initial term through to 30 June 2027
  • Start: ASAP

An exciting opportunity to support a high‑profile government organisation embarking on a multi‑year transformation of its enterprise systems. As part of this program, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a new recruitment and onboarding platform that will modernise and streamline how the organisation attracts, processes, and onboards staff across a complex, diverse workforce.

This is a rare opportunity to drive a critical technology uplift within a major enterprise environment, working across business, HR, ICT, and program leadership teams.


Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:
  • Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of a new enterprise recruitment and onboarding solution within a broader ERP transformation program.
  • Oversee planning, scheduling, implementation, and transition-to-BAU activities across the full project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure requirements are accurately captured, validated, and delivered.
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies, financials, and governance reporting in line with government and PMO frameworks.
  • Provide strong leadership to project resources and suppliers, promoting clear communication, accountability, and high‑quality outcomes.
  • Guide integration, data migration, and process uplift activities to ensure a smooth transition from legacy recruitment systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement opportunities and ensure delivery aligns to intended program benefits.


About You

To be successful, you will bring:
  • Demonstrated experience managing large and complex HCM related or ERP projects in government or sizeable enterprise environments.
  • Background delivering HCM, recruitment, onboarding, or HR technology solutions (experience with SAP or integrated ecosystems is highly advantageous).
  • Strong capability managing vendors, contracts, and multi-stream delivery environments.
  • Proven experience navigating complex stakeholder groups and providing clear, confident communication.
