Your new role

An opportunity exists for an experienced Project Engineer to join the team working on a major commercial refurbishment project valued for its technical complexity and staged delivery. The project will run for approximately two years , providing genuine project continuity and stability.

This role would suit a Project Engineer with strong experience in commercial fit-out and heavy refurbishment , particularly within live or partially occupied environments.

• Day-to-day coordination of subcontractors and consultants
• Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
• Reviewing and managing RFIs, shop drawings, and technical documentation
• Supporting program delivery across multiple work fronts
• Assisting with cost control, variations, and reporting
• Ensuring safety, quality, and compliance across refurbishment works

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Project Engineer on commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects
• Exposure to heavy refurbishment and working within existing buildings
• Background with a Tier 2 builder (or strong Tier 3 with complex project exposure)
• Strong technical construction knowledge and services coordination experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Relevant construction or engineering qualification
