Your new role
The purpose of the position is to deliver project cost control services to major zero-emission projects, including planning, estimating, budgeting, funding, and controlling costs across the project lifecycle to enable the delivery of projects within the approved budget.
What you'll need to succeed
- Developing the initial project schedule, including milestones, identifying the critical path, and updating schedules to reflect actual progress.
- Tracking expenses, analysing cash flow, performing cost estimation, and controlling budgets to prevent overruns.
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact the project’s cost, schedule, or scope.
- Monitoring Key Performance Indicators, generating reports, and analysing trends to provide insight into the project's health.
- Documenting, evaluating, and controlling changes to the project scope, timeline, or budget.
- Maintaining data integrity and using tools like Earned Value Management (EVM) to predict future outcomes and forecast completion dates and costs.
