Due to ongoing growth, they are now seeking a capable and motivated Project Administrator to join their team.
Your new role
Reporting to senior project and finance staff, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient delivery of construction projects through comprehensive administrative, purchasing and accounts support. This is a varied role that works closely with Contracts Administrators, project teams and finance to ensure documentation and financial processes are accurate, timely and compliant.
- Providing administrative support across planning, delivery and completion stages
- Maintaining organised digital and physical project records
- Issuing tender requests and recording submitted quotations
- Preparing draft contract documents
- Managing project correspondence and documentation
- Coordinating subcontractor onboarding and plant/equipment reporting
- Assisting with project QA and handover documentation
- Supporting finance, project and site teams as required
- Filing and distributing construction drawings and plans
- Organising project documentation and filing systems
- Preparing client handover documentation
- Assisting with project reports and general office tasks
- Matching supplier invoices to purchase orders using electronic invoicing systems
- Assisting with invoice and credit card reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate project cost and financial documentation
- Supporting cashflow forecasting and monthly budget processes
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you will bring a combination of strong administrative capability, exceptional attention to detail, and practical experience within the construction environment.
- Previous experience as a Project Administrator in construction, civil, property or engineering
- Solid understanding of construction documentation and project processes
- Excellent organisation, time‑management and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- Strong relationship-building skills with both site and office personnel
- A proactive, team‑focused approach and a willingness to assist where needed
- Jobpac experience preferred but not essential
