An opportunity is now available for an experienced Program Manager to take ownership of a complex portfolio of work within a mature delivery and governance environment.
Your new role
As Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading a large, multi‑year portfolio, ensuring delivery outcomes align with strategic priorities, governance standards, financial controls and stakeholder expectations.
You will work closely with senior leaders, technology teams and delivery partners across the organisation. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating delivery across multiple initiatives and workstreams
- Developing and maintaining high‑quality integrated schedules and delivery plans
- Managing program‑level financials, forecasts, risks, dependencies and reporting
- Providing strong vendor and senior stakeholder management, including negotiation
- Supporting Agile or hybrid delivery approaches where appropriate
- Establishing and maintaining clear governance and delivery discipline
- Partnering with senior executives to ensure outcomes align with organisational objectives
What you'll need to succeed
- Advanced / senior Program or Portfolio Management experience
- Strong vendor and executive stakeholder management capability
- Proven experience delivering complex, integrated schedules across multiple workstreams
- Significant financial management experience at program level
- Exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery environments
- Tertiary qualification in Project / Program Management or related discipline
- Program Management certification (e.g. PMP, AIPM CPPD)
- Experience in large, complex organisations (higher education desirable but not essential)
- You'll also need your own device / laptop.
