Business Program Manager - Telco - Separation & Migration

Location: Sydney CBD (Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite per Week)
Employment Type: 6-Month Contract (Initial Term) – Potential for Extension

About the Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Program Manager to support a major separation initiative within the enterprise, government, and wholesale space. This role is critical to the successful transition of services, platforms, and infrastructure to a new provider, following the divestment of a key business unit.

You’ll work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of complex projects across data, voice, and network migrations, as well as the decommissioning of billing systems and product portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the planning and execution of multiple workstreams within the separation program.
  • Ensure all projects are aligned with strategic goals, delivered on time, and meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business units, including Networks, IT, and Operations to drive outcomes.
  • Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and issues proactively.
  • Support the Senior Manager – Separation in overseeing the broader program roadmap and delivery milestones.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and ensure clear communication across all levels of the organisation.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management, ideally within telecommunications or enterprise service environments.
  • Strong understanding of separation, migration, or transformation programs.
  • Familiarity with project delivery methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on outcomes and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and JIRA.
